Click HERE to download article by a friend of mine about a 1540 lawsuit involving a land dispute in Texcoco - the map dates from 1540 and  is one of the gems of the Library of Congress collection.  Printed on fig paper, the map text is in Nahuatl and Spanish.  Click HERE for link to LOC page containing images of this item.

Some of you may know I collect antique maps and am very involved in the collecting community, so viewing items such as these in the Library of Congress Geography & Maps Division vaults is fun for me.  Unrelated to Mexico, among other treasures I was able to peruse the relief maps used by Eisenhower and staff to plan the Normandy invasion.
